Bioglobal Ldt. (BG) is a consulting and services company registered in Mozambique since 2005. In response to our customers needs, new specialized services in the environment are demanded. Specialized studies to monitor and analyze air quality (particles and gases) and noise are thus Bioglobal’s new area of expertise

Air Quality

Gases Measurement
(NO₂, SO₂, CO, O₂)

We offer measurement of sulfur dioxide (NO₂), nitrogen dioxide (SO₂), carbon monoxide (CO) and oxygen (O₂) gases.

The measurement is carried out with MultiRAE equipment, the most advanced portable chemical detector on the market. With the flexibility of up to four gas sensors and wireless portability advantage, this multi-gas measuring equipment is versatile and customizable, to show real time readings and alarm limits.

Data recording

Continuous data record (1 minute intervals) user-configurable data logging interval (1 to 3.600 seconds)

Sampling

Pump or diffusion. Average rate of pumped flow: 250 cc / min. Off automatically in low flow conditions

Battery options

Lithium rechargeable battery (12 hours continuous) Battery Adapter AA Alkaline (approximately 6 hours continuously)

Particles Measurement
(PM₁, PM_2.5, Breathable and PST)

We offer Particles or Particulate Matter Measurement PM₁, PM_2.5, breathable, PM₁₀ and Total particle / dust / aerosols in suspension.

The measurement is performed with the TSI Model DustTrak II - 8535, equipment that is able to makes the measure all fractions simultaneously and in a single record. This equipment was primarily developed to be used in outdoor applications and in industrial and commercial indoor applications. It features a large secure method needed for measuring environmental pollutants

Environmental Noise

Environmental Noise Measurements

Exposure Limit Values - Levels of daily or weekly exposure or sound pressure level peak.

Discomfort Criteria - The discomfort criteria is considered by the difference between the levels of the ambient noise indicator (LAeq), determined during the occurrence of the particular noise of the activity/ies beig assessment, and the levels of the noise indicator

Noise exposure of workers - The equivalent continuous sound level, A-weighted, calculated for a normal working day of eight hours or for a weekly average of the daily values of personal exposure to noise, in situations where noise exposure varies greatly from one day to the other

Water Analysis

Water Chemistry Analysis (in situ)

(Cyanuric Acid, Aluminio, Alkalinity, Ammonia, Bromine, Calcium, Chlorine, Copper, Chromium, Chlorine Dioxide, hardness (calcium and magnesium), iron, fluoride, phosphate, Iodine, Magnesium, Manganese, Molybdenum, Nickel, Nitrate, Nitrite, oxygen, ozone, pH, potassium, silver, silica, sulphate and Zinc)

The chemical analysis of water quality are made by photometric absorption, HI 83200-02M (in situ), equipment developed for analysis in outdoor / indoor environments. Analyses can be performed on-site collection and obtain expeditious results.
